These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) establish the terms and conditions for the use of the website www.tangovacationrentals.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) and the temporary rental services provided by Tango Vacation Rentals (hereinafter referred to as “Tango Vacation Rentals” or “we”) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. By accessing and using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Reservations and Payment Methods
1.1. By making a reservation through the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts.
1.2. Only the responsible person who made the reservation may enter the property.
1.3. Rental rates will be clearly displayed on the Site and may vary depending on the property and the season.
1.4. When making a reservation, you will be asked to provide personal information, including your name, email address, number of guests, and payment details. You declare and warrant that all provided information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
1.5. Payment for the reservation will be made according to the terms and conditions set forth on the Site.
1.6. To guarantee your reservation, a deposit of the total value of the stay is required through the following payment methods: Credit/debit card through the online payment platform: Mercado Pago from Argentina and Paypal.
2. Currency
2.1. The accepted currencies for payments are Argentine pesos (ARS) and United States dollars (USD).
2.2. We offer the option of payment in United States dollars (USD) through PayPal. This option is available as an alternative for making online payments using currency conversion.
2.3. The published price is the final price, and no value-added tax (VAT) refunds will be made for foreigners.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the property and will be clearly indicated on the booking page. Please read the corresponding policies carefully before making a reservation.
3.2. If you cancel your reservation made on our website, please consider the following policies:
- Cancellations made before 10 days: 100% refund of the deposit value.
- Cancellations made before 5 days: 50% refund of the deposit value.
- Cancellations made after these instances will not be refunded.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and for all activities that occur under your account.
4.2. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use the Site to defame, harass, threaten, or violate the rights of third parties.
4.3. You agree to be responsible for any damage caused to the property during your stay and to comply with the rules and regulations established by the property owner.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. The content of the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, and codes, is the property of Tango Vacation Rentals and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
5.2. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any information or services obtained from the Site without the prior written consent of Tango Vacation Rentals.
6. General Policies
6.1. Guest service hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM.
6.2. Check-in time is at 3 PM – Check-out time is at 11 AM.
6.3. All our guests must be registered on our website.
6.4. In the event of check-in and check-out outside our reception hours, an additional cost of USD10 per 2 hours of guard service will be charged.
6.5. Key delivery will be done in person by the designated person.
6.6. Unregistered visitors are not permitted access to the rooms.
6.7. If the number of guests exceeds the reported amount, an additional fee will be charged, and the reservation may be canceled if it exceeds the apartment’s capacity.
6.8. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact reception 24 hours in advance to check availability.
6.9. If you have any valuable items (jewelry, money, notebook, passports, travel tickets, etc.), please use our safe deposit box service.
6.10. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and/or bathrooms, except in designated outdoor areas.
6.11. Playing musical instruments, loud music, or noisy parties is prohibited.
6.12. Reservations longer than 7 days will have cleaning service every 4 days with the original cleaning cost.
6.13. Pets are not allowed.
6.14. Any damage caused by guests to the property must be paid for before departure. The property must be returned in normal conditions of use and customs.
6.15. Management reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract if any of the above rules are violated.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. Tango Vacation Rentals shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Site.
7.2. Tango Vacation Rentals shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury resulting from your stay in a property booked through the Site.
8. Early Check-in
8.1. Check-in time is from 3 PM onwards. If desired, and provided that the apartment is vacant before that time, the check-in time can be advanced upon the guest’s explicit request. Keys will be delivered at the agreed time and location to the responsible person.
9. Late Check-Out
9.1. If you choose this option, please notify us in advance to block the room in case there is no scheduled reservation. If you leave the room after check-out time (11 AM), a 50% daily rate will be charged until 4 PM, and 100% after that time.
10. Modifications to the Terms
10.1. Tango Vacation Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.
10.2. It is recommended to periodically review these Terms to be aware of any changes. Your continued use of the Site after the posting of modifications will constitute your acceptance of such modifications.
10.3. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Tango Vacation Rentals regarding the use of the Site and the temporary rental services. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be removed, and the remaining provisions shall apply to their full extent. The failure of you or Tango Vacation Rentals to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not waive any other right or legal recourse available.
